Mirko Vagnoni nació en 1979 en Florencia. Obtuvo el título en Historia Medieval en la Universidad de Siena (2004) y se doctoró en la Universidad de Florencia (2008). Ha sido investigador posdoctoral en el Deutsches Historisches Institut en Rom (2009); en el Zentrum für Mittelalter- und Renaissancestudien en la Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2010); en el Instituto Medieval de la Universidad de Notre Dame, EE. UU. (2012); en la Universität Kassel (2013); en los Archivos Notariales de La Valletta, Malta (2014); y en la Université de Fribourg, Suiza (2016). En la actualidad está trabajando como Investigador Senior y Asistente Dr. SNF en la Universidad de Friburgo en el contexto del proyecto SNSF "Royal Epiphanies. The King’s Body as Image and Its Mise-en-scène in the Medieval Mediterranean (12th-14th centuries)" (2017-2021).

Mirko Vagnoni was born in 1979 in Florence. He obtained the degree in Medieval History at the University of Siena (2004) and the Ph.D. at the University of Florence (2008). He has been Post-Doc Researcher at the Deutsches Historisches Institut in Rom (2009); the Zentrum für Mittelalter- und Renaissancestudien at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2010); the Medieval Institute at the University of Notre Dame, USA (2012); the Universität Kassel (2013); the Notarial Archives of La Valletta, Malta (2014); and the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland (2016). Now, he is working as Senior Researcher and SNF Dr.-Assistant at the Université de Fribourg in the context of the SNSF project “Royal Epiphanies. The King’s Body as Image and Its Mise-en-scène in the Medieval Mediterranean (12th-14th centuries)” (2017-2021).
