Biblia: Textos e iconografía

Se aborda de forma interdisciplinar los aspectos textuales, literario y exegético de la Biblia, así como su recepción y transmisión en imágenes, con especial atención a las mujeres del Antiguo Testamento. Todo ello supone una aproximación plural y transversal de filología y estudios culturales, mediante la colaboración con varias universidades y centros de investigación de dentro y fuera de España.

The textual, literary and exegetical aspects of the Bible, as well as its reception and transmission in images, are approached in an interdisciplinary way, with special attention to the women of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. This means that we approach the Bible by applying methodologies from both Philology and Cultural Studies. We also actively collaborate with scholars working on similar topics from other universities and research centers both in Spain and abroad.
