In December 2024, a scientific monologue competition was held in the Complutense University of Madrid where 15 university reserachers participated.

In this event, whose aim was to bring science closer to the public in an entertaining and accessible way, one David Castro was selected and presented a monologue on a new cell organelle, the exlcusome. David managed to convey the relevance of the discovery and its impact on the field of cell biology. His intervention was recognised with the prize for the best monologue of the competition, you can see the competition here.
