YANG, Ermin (1971-) was born in Quyang County, Hebei province, P. R. China, and graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts with a doctor's degree in literature. He is presently working as Editor-in-chief of ArtsBj.com; researcher at the Chinese National Academy Arts; chairman of Nanjing University of the Arts, director of Chinese Innovative Ink and Wash Painting Institute; consultant of Hebei Chinese Painting Research Association, visiting professor at Hebei University, China. He is also a visiting research fellow at Saint Said Art Center, U.S.A.; chief researcher at Toyo Fine Arts Institute, Japan；chairman of the International Planning Commissioner for the Nagoya Art Festival, Japan.

Yang is also visiting prof. to the course of the One Asia Foundation in the SIIM research program at Complutense University Madrid (Spain).
