Sara Romero Otero is a PhD student in Philology at the University of Seville, currently researching autobiographical writings and the politics of trauma and remembrance in Northern Irish female authors. She completed her degree in Literary Studies at the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Contemporary Cinema & Media Studies and a Master’s in Comparative Literature, Art and Philosophy at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). Her work focuses specifically on gender studies and female Irish authors, as well as intermedial relationships between literature and cinema.
