Lucía Pardillos Rodríguez es una estudiante en el grado de Estudios Ingleses de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Desde junio de 2022, forma parte de la revista Journal of Artistic and Literary Research (JACLR) como revisora. Sus intereses académicos abarcan la literatura inglesa en Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos, con un especial interés en la poesía del Romanticismo y de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Sus intereses literarios también incluyen novelas de fantasía y ciencia ficción, el posmodernismo, novelas gráficas y obras de teatro del siglo XX. Se ha introducido en disciplinas como la intermedialidad, transmedialidad, los estudios de género y LGTB y las literaturas postcoloniales. De cara a su futuro profesional, está enfocada a dedicarse a la enseñanza del inglés en su aspecto lingüístico y literario, así como la pedagogía teatral en jóvenes y niños. Muestra un particular interés en los modelos de enseñanza alternativa como el método Waldorf, Montessori, los colegios Pestalozzi y las escuelas-bosque.

Cursó el bachillerato artístico en el I.E.S. San Isidro, donde pudo desarrollar algunas de sus habilidades artísticas como la fotografía analógica, el diseño gráfico, la escultura, el dibujo, la pintura y la expresión musical y escénica. Su trayectoria artística puede verse reflejada en su participación en numerosos proyectos artísticos, teatrales y cinematográficos. Fue ayudante de dirección de la producción teatral A.L.I.S. o cómo asomarse al borde de no sé qué (2018) y directora de fotografía en el cortometraje analógico Divina Espoleta (2019). Ha sido ganadora de concursos literarios con sus propuestas de escritura creativa en ficción, poesía y teatro. Su obra de teatro corto Patio Interior ganó el Premio a la Mejor Obra de Teatro del I.E.S. San Isidro en 2018. En 2017, tras formar parte del curso de relato corto de La Plaza de Poe, participó con su relato breve “Tierra Firme” en la antología de relatos titulada Doce Cristales Rotos. En 2019-2020 fue colaboradora en la revista universitaria En Plan Culto.

Ha asistido a varios cursos online de la Universidad de Oxford sobre Crítica Literaria y Escritura Creativa. Fue seleccionada para formar parte del curso de Escritura Creativa de verano en Oxford en 2021, el cual fue finalmente cancelado por las restricciones en Reino Unido a raíz del COVID-19.

Lucía Pardillos Rodríguez is a student pursuing a Degree in English Studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Since June 2022, she takes part in the Journal of Artistic and Literary Research (JACLR) as a reviewer. Her academic interests comprise the literature from Great Britain and the U.S., with a particular interest in romantic poetry and the poetry of the second half of the 20th Century. Her literary interests also revolve around Fantasy and SF novels, postmodernism, graphic novels and 20th century theatre plays. She is initiated in the fields of Intermediality, Transmediality, Gender Studies, LGBT Studies and Postcolonial literature. Regarding her professional career she is focused on teaching English as a foreign language and literature, as well as being a theatre teacher for young adults and children. She shows a great interest in alternative teaching models such as the Waldorf Method, the Montessori Method, the Pestalozzi schools and forest schools.

She studied artistic bachillerato at I.E.S. San Isidro, where she could upskill some of her artistic abilities: analogue photography, graphic design, sculpting, drawing, painting and musical and scenic expression. Her artistic trajectory can be found ascribed to numerous theatrical and filmic projects. She was Assistant Director to the theatrical production A.L.I.S. o cómo asomarse al borde de no sé qué (2018); and Director of Photography for the short analogue film Divina Espoleta (2019). She has won several literary competitions for her short fiction, poetry and plays. Her play Patio Interior won Best Play at I.E.S. San Isidro 2018. In 2017, after joining a course on writing Short Fiction imparted by La Plaza de Poe, she took part in the publication of  Doce Cristales Rotos, with her piece “Tierra Firme”. In 2019-20, she was a collaborator for the university magazine En Plan Culto.

She has attended a few online courses at Oxford University on Critical Reading and Creative Writing. She was selected to attend the Oxford Creative Writing Summer Course in 2021, which was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
