Clara Pallejá Lópezes Doctora en Literatura Comparada por la Universidad de Auckland en Nueva Zelanda. Ha realizado estudios sobre narrativa fantástica moderna y cine de terror en lenguas española e inglesa. Entre sus principales líneas de investigación actuales se encuentran el tratamiento del espacio y la aparición de la casa maligna como resultado de tensiones socioculturales, así como los miedos codificados genéticamente y reflejados en las obras literarias. Ha sido profesora de lengua, literatura y cultura en Skidmore College (Nueva York) y en la Universidad de Auckland, y actualmente es profesora de estudios culturales en el Departamento de Idiomas de la Universidad Católica de Murcia.

Clara Pallejá López holds a Doctorate in Comparative Literature from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has carried out studies on modern horror and fantasy in Spanish and English, and more specifically on the rise of the sentient house in fiction and Spanish horror cinema. Her current research interests are the intertwining of sociocultural tensions and fiction and the genetic encoding of particular fears. She has taught language, culture and literature at Skidmore College (New York) and The University of Auckland. She currently is a lecturer at the Department of Modern Languages at the Catholic University of Murcia, Spain.
