Dear colleagues and friends,

We are very pleased to welcome you to the XXIII International Symposium of Cryptogamic Botany which, finally and after having to be postponed in June 2021 due to Covid, will be held next summer 2022. For this ocassion, we have chosen the special setting of the historic center of the Mediterranean city of Valencia, Spain, for its celebration. 

With the Symposium theme "Cryptogams: Biodiversity, Conservation and Interactions" the purpose of this event is to offer lecturers, researchers, stakeholders and students, the opportunity to disseminate recent research results in the different fields of
Cryptogamy (Bryology, Phycology, Lichenology, Mycology and Pteridology), and at the same time to establish new networks of scientific exchange and collaboration.
