Raquel Carrasco is a Full Professor in the Department of Economic Analysis and Quantitative Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a position she has held since January 2025. Prior to this, she was an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). She earned her PhD from CEMFI and B.A. from Universidad Complutense. Her research focuses on Microeconometrics and Applied Economics. She has published papers in several leading international journals, including Journal of Econometrics, Economic Journal, or Journal of Business and Economics Statistics. Professor Carrasco has held several academic leadership roles, including Vice Dean of Economics at the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences at UC3M. She has also served as Associate Editor for SERIEs – Journal of the Spanish Economic Association, and has been a member of both the Board of the Spanish Economic Association and the Committee on the Status of Women in Economics (COSME).
