General structure of the study plan:

The study plan consists of basic, compulsory and elective (optional) training subjects.

The study plan is spread over four academic years.

Since the 2017-2018 academic year, first year students are offered the opportunity to take a "Mathematics Zero Course" aimed at students who want to reinforce their previous knowledge of mathematics. This subject is not part of the curriculum, and is currently taught only in Spanish.

General information about the credit structure and distribution per subject area:

Students attend the basic training ECTS credits in the first course (first and second semester). The compulsory subjects extend from the second year up to the first semester of the fourth year. Part of the seventh as well as the full eighth semester (i.e., the first and second semester of the fourth year, respectively) are dedicated to the elective subjects and the Bachelor Thesis.

To take the 36 optional ECTS credits, students can choose from 25 elective subjects of 4 ECTS credits each as well as an External Internship of 12 ECTS. If the student wishes to obtain a European Diploma Supplement (EDS) with the explicit mention of a specialization (the four specializations being Accounting, Business Management, Marketing and Finance), (s)he must take the four specific elective subjects of the corresponding specialization, as well as two of the 4 recommended electives (total 24 ECTS).

Specializations:

Since June 2017, students have the option of following a specialization which will appear in the Supplement to the Academic Degree.

The following specializations are offered in the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration:

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIZATION (24 ECTS)

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIZATION (24 ECTS)

External Internships (agreements with public or private entities, mentoring system, application systems, award criteria ...):

The Faculty of Economics & Business offers the opportunity to take an External Internship during the second semester of the fourth year. This counts for 12 elective ECTS credits.

The Internship can be done in Spanish or English, either in Spanish territory or abroad.

Trabajo Fin de Grado

Bachelor Thesis:

During the final semester of their Degree, students will have to perform a Bachelor Thesis. This counts for 6 ECTS credits and can be written in Spanish or English.
