Víctor Ruiz López
I have a degree in Biology from the Complutense University of Madrid (2013-2014) and a master's degree in Conservation and Biodiversity (2017-2019). My research interests have always been related to the diversity of taxa and their related evolutionary patterns, among others.
During my time in the lab I have been working with two model animals Xenopus laevis and Trachemys scripta elegans as keystone species to discuss different neuroevolutionary aspects. I have been mainly focused on the study of the pallial and amygdaloid regions involved in the processing of olfactory and vomeronasal information in both adult and embryonic specimens of both species.
