Techniques

We carry out single-cell RNA sequencing to analyse the evolution of cell types by comparing the transcriptome in different models in the regions of interest. We are also experts in classical and advanced anatomical analysis techniques, such as classical histology, in situ hybridisation, immunofluorescence and in vitro connectome analysis.

The combination of all the evidence we collect using these powerful methods, in this great diversity of species, helps us to increase our knowledge of brain organisation and evolution.
