Applications are invited for a fully funded 3.5 year PhD position in the group of Dr Nikolaos Fytas (https://www.essex.ac.uk/people/FYTAS40001/nikolaos-fytas) at the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Essex, United Kingdom. Anticipated research will be related to statistical physics of disordered systems and in particular the critical properties and other interesting phenomena appearing in the random-field Ising model and will involve theoretical and computational techniques.
