José Antonio Montero
PhD in Contemporary History, Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Prince of Asturias Distinguised Visiting Researcher at Georgetown University (2007-2009), visiting researcher at Georgetown University for several more years as well as at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
His research area is US Foreign Policy. His work focuses on Hispanic American relations in the first half of the 20th century from different perspectives—political, economic, cultural, intellectual—as well as on the deployment of US public diplomacy in Latin America and Europe during the Cold War.
He has taught “Globalization and International Relations” for six years in the Master’s Degree in Contemporary History and has published on the development of Global History in the US.
