Doctor en Lingüística por la University of Southern California. Hasta diciembre de 2023 fui profesor titular en Purchase College (SUNY), donde era codirector del departamento de Lengua y Cultura. También dirigía el programa de español a todos los niveles.

LÍNEAS DE INVESTIGACIÓN: Morfosintaxis, aspecto léxico, estructura argumental, predicación no verbal, construcciones pasivas, participios, nominalizaciones.
