Enma Dafouz Milne, Complutense University of Madrid
Emma Dafouz is associate professor at the University Complutense of Madrid, where she teaches courses in applied linguistics, discourse analysis and bilingual education. Since 2001 she has focused on English-medium instruction (EMI) in higher education and currently coordinates an interdisciplinary research group, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, on the Internationalization of Higher Education and EMI. She has been member of a number of international projects (ConCLIL -Conceptualising CLIL based in Jyväskylä University) or CLIL across educational contexts (based in Luxembourg university). The results of such research have given rise to numerous conferences, courses and publications in national and international journals (International Journal of Bilingualism and Bilingual Education, Language and Education, Modern Language Journal or Applied Linguistics). She also cooperates as consultant in CLIL teacher education programmes with the regional governments of Madrid and Murcia. At present, she is an advisor for the Complutense Language Plan for Internationalization.
Cirstina del Campo Campos, Complutense University of Madrid
Dr. del Campo holds a Bachelor Degree on Maths, a M.Sc. on Statistics and Operational Research and a Ph.D. on Computer Science. Her main research areas are multivariate analysis applied to the socio-economic description of local economies, Fuzzy Implications and ICT use in education. In addition to her research publications, she has published several manuals on Decision Analysis and basic Statistics.
