Másteres oficiales

Luis Gonzaga Martínez del Campo

I studied History at the University of Zaragoza where I completed a PhD in Contemporary History (European Distinction) in 2014. In my PhD dissertation, I argue that the promotion of Spanish language education in Post-Victorian England (1902-1951) was intimately related to British interest in the Latin American market. During my doctoral years, I was a visiting student at LSE, Cambridge University, Liverpool University, Universidad de Costa Rica and Ruhr-Universität Bochum. After I completed my PhD, I worked as an academic attendant for students with disabilities at University College London. Over the past few years, I have held postdoctoral positions at the Universidad de Concepción (Chile), the University of Essex (UK) and the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (Spain). In 2019, finally, I joined the Universidad Complutense de Madrid where I currently work as a ‘Ramón y Cajal’ Research Fellow in Contemporary History.
