A Bachelor of Geography and History from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, she obtained a Doctorate in Ancient History from the same university.

Between 1999 and 2004, she formed part of the research group entitled La visión de los autores antiguos sobre los carpetanos and took part in the project entitled Fontes Hispaniae Antiquae, working under the leadership of Dr. Julio Mangas Manjarrés on the re-editing and scientific review of ancient literary sources relating to Hispania.

Since 2008, she has been assisting in the management of the Hispanic Epigraphic Archive under contracts tied to the research projects entitled Digitalización e informatización de los fondos de investigación del Archivo Epigráfico de Hispania (Ref. FFI2010-10228-E) –under the leadership of Dr. Eugenio Luján Martínez–, Patrimonio Arqueológico y Documental de la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid (Ref. S2007/HUM0543), ‘Sacra tempora. Certae Aedes'. Fuentes epigráficas y textuales sobre espacios de la religiosidad en la Hispania altomedieval (Ref. FFI2012-34719), Red Digital para un milenio de documentación epigráfica en museos y archivos de la Comunidad de Madrid (Ref. S2015/HUM-3377) and Corpus de Inscripciones y textos hispano-latinos sobre arquitectura religiosa y civil altoimperial (Ref. HARD2015-65649-C2-1-P) –all under the leadership of Dr. Isabel Velázquez Soriano–.

At present, she is involved in the project entitled Corpus de manuscritos de la Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid para la Historia Antigua de España (Ref. PID2019-109530GB-I00, Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities), led by Dr. María del Rosario Hernando Sobrino.

Her lines of research are focused on ancient and Roman Hispania, with a particular emphasis on the epigraphic and literary documentation of ancient and mediaeval eras that enables analysis of continuity in social structures and forms of inter-community relations.
