Oswaldo Lorenzo Quiles
Full University Professor at the Department of Didactics in Musical, Plastic and Bodily Expression of the Universidad de Granada. Extraordinary Doctorate Award in Education Sciences (UNED) and Third National Educational Research Award, 2004 (Spanish Ministry of Education and Science-CIDE). He has been awarded two CNEAI six-year terms in the field (educational science area), and is the author of scientific publications addressing research in musical education and educational research in a number of JCR indexed journals: Plos One, Frontiers in Psychology, Psicodidáctica, Infancia y Aprendizaje, Comunicar, Educación XX1, Cultura y Educación, Psychology of Music, etc.
He is currently coordinator of the Erasmus+ project 618625-EPP-1-2020-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP - ECALFOR “Evaluation of Teacher Training in Latin America and the Caribbean. Educational qualification quality assurance". Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, Action Capacity Building in higher education-Joint Projects. 2020-2024 https://erasmusplusfcced.webnode.es/ he has also served as Lead Researcher and participant in a number of national and international research projects and contracts (Comenius, Alfa, R&D+i). Speaker and visitor at congresses and universities in China, United Kingdom, Morocco, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Thailand, El Salvador, Portugal, Argentina, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Spain, etc.
Active participation on university management bodies: Vice-Dean for Research, International Projects and Transfer (since November 2017). Director of 15 European and international doctoral theses read by doctoral students from Colombia, Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Romania and Spain. Participation in evaluation tasks: evaluator of the AVAP (Evaluation and Prospects Agency of Valencia), the ACSUG (University System Quality Agency of Galicia), the Madri+d Foundation and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Dominican Republic. Member of the Academic Commission of the official doctorate programme in Education Sciences at the Universidad de Granada.
Since 2010. He has served as a member of the monitoring and evaluation commission of the official doctorate programme in Teacher Training: educational practice and communication.
