Julio Alvear Téllez
Professor of Constitutional Law and Research Director at the Faculty of Law in the University of Development in Santiago de Chile, he has taught Legal Sciences in the Catholic University of Chile (1997-2007), the University of Chile (2007), the Northern Catholic University (1997-2007) and at the PhD program of the University of Los Andes (2013 on).
Alban Trainee for higher education studies at the European Union (2008-2010). Doctor in Law (2011) and Doctor in Philosophy (2018) by the Complutense University of Madrid.
Head researcher of two FONDECYT projects for the Investigation and Development National Agency – ANID (N° 1191017, 2019-2024; N° 11121218, 2012-2014). Founder and director of the journal Derecho Público Iberoamericano (https://revistas.udd.cl/index.php/RDPI/index).
Member of the International Union of Catholic Jurists (Rome), of the Hispanic Studies Council Felipe II (Madrid), of the Legal and Social Philosophy Chileno Society, and of the Bar Association of Chile.
