Introduction

Hispania Epigraphica is an updated bibliographic collection of a critical-scientific nature containing publications that provide new approaches to epigraphy in Latin, Greek and paleo-Hispanic languages in the Iberian Peninsula from the first written expressions to the Visigoth era, inclusive. Each volume contains and synthesises studies corresponding to previous calendar years, providing previously unpublished texts, new readings of those already known or important data in terms of localisation, changes to source locations, findings or any other information contributing to the expansion of knowledge about inscriptions. Each volume also contains numerous themed indices and indices corresponding to epigraphic corpora that facilitate not only the internal search for content but also contribute to the classification of material so as to offer a broad informative instrument for future research. Hispania Epigraphica is created at the Hispanic Epigraphic Archive of UCM by an extensive team of researchers responsible for the selection and review of the texts, who are supported by a technical team and assistants advised by an international scientific committee.
