Sonia López Serrano
Sonia López Serrano is an English lecturer at Universidad de La Laguna, and she is currently working on her PhD dissertation, whose title is "Learning to write emails to faculty in English through teacher-created self-access online materials: An exploration of products, processes and individual differences". Her research focuses on L2 pragmatics, technology-enhaced language learning and teaching, and L2 writing and feedback practices.
She has published her research on leading international journals such as Research Methods in Applied Linguistics and Studies in Second Language Acquisition. She is currently the Communications Department Chair of the Internaitonal Association for Teaching Pragmatics (ITAP) and the Publications Coordinator of the technology-enhanced language learning strand of the Education, Languages and Internationalisation Network (ELINET).
