My name is Sara De Piniés de La Cuesta, I graduated in English Studies at Universidad Complutense of Madrid in 2022. Moreover, I have a strong scientific background, due to a BSC in Marine Science obtained at University of Cadiz (1998), as well as a Master in Environmental engineering at Escuela Organización Industrial- E.O.I. (2000), and a Masters in business administration at Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE postgraduate school (2005). Apart from the linguistic knowledge, My skills comprise a strong statistical background.

The topic of my research is closely related to discourse analysis, specifically to scientific discourse. The investigation includes a corpus-based approach to oceanographic research articles.
