CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS: Cognitive Sociolinguistics, Language perception and attitudes, Experimental research methods.

PhD SUPERVISION EXPERIENCE: I have co-supervised 1 thesis, supervised 6 more theses and 4 more are in due progress. 5 of these dissertations have benefited/benefit from highly competitive research funding programmes: 2 FPUs (Dr. Maria Ángeles Jurado Bravo and Inés de la Villa Vecilla) 1 UCM-Harvard grant (Dr. Daniel Martín González), 1 research grant from the Research Council of the People´s Republic of China (Dr. Liqin Xiong) and 1 FPI grant associated with the research project Técnicas Experimentales en Sociolingüística: Efectos Metodológicos en el Estudio de las Actitudes Lingüísticas (2022-2025).
