Profesor del Master Universitario de Acceso al Ejercicio de la Abogacía de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Doctor en Derecho (Dottorato Europeo di Ricerca) por la Universidad de Bolonia (Italia). Licenciado en Derecho (Premio Extraordinario) por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Abogado en ejercicio desde 1998 con amplia experiencia profesional en todas las áreas del Derecho civil y mercantil. Fundador de Gallego Larrubia Abogados. Socio fundador de Gallego, Martos & Quadra-Salcedo Abogados, Gallego, Martos & Asociados Abogados y De la Cuesta, Gallego & Martos Abogados. Abogado en los despachos internacionales Clifford Chance y Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo. Socio fundador de la Asociación Española de Accionistas Minoritarios de Empresas Cotizadas (AEMEC). Árbitro de la Corte de Arbitraje del Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.

Entre sus líneas de investigación académica destacan el Derecho societario y el Derecho concursal, habiéndose especializado en su faceta profesional como abogado en operaciones y reestructuraciones societarias, fusiones y adquisiciones de empresas, procesos de desinversión, operaciones de capital riesgo, resolución judicial y extrajudicial de conflictos societarios y acuerdos de accionistas, contratación civil y mercantil, concursos de acreedores, insolvencias y asesoramiento preconcursal. Posee amplia experiencia, entre otras áreas, en Derecho de asociaciones y fundaciones, gobierno corporativo, Derecho de la competencia y publicidad y Derecho de la propiedad intelectual e industrial.
Compagina la actividad docente e investigadora como Profesor de Derecho Mercantil de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con el ejercicio profesional de la abogacía. Conferenciante en el Instituto de Empresa y en IFAES y participante en Congresos nacionales e internacionales especializados, ha intervenido como especialista en Derecho mercantil en distintos medios de comunicación y es autor de diversas publicaciones especializadas en distintas materias del Derecho mercantil.

Most notable among his academic research areas are those of Corporate Law and Bankruptcy Law, specializing in his professional career as lawyer in transactions and restructuring of companies, mergers and acquisitions, divestment processes, private equity transactions, extra judicial and judicial rulings on corporate disputes and shareholder agreements, civil and commercial contracts, settlements with creditors, bankruptcies and pre-bankruptcy counselling. He also has wide experience, among other areas, in Associations and Foundations Law, Corporate Governance, Competition and Advertising Law and Intellectual and Industrial Law.
He combines teaching and researching as Professor of Business Law at the Complutense University of Madrid with the professional practice as lawyer. Lecturer at the IE (Instituto de Empresa) and IFAES (International Faculty For Executives), he has participated as specialist in Business Law in several media, and he is the author of a number of specialized publications on different matters of Business Law.
