Library
The Chemical Sciences Library was inaugurated on June 12, 2003 and is part of the network of Libraries of the Complutense University (BUC).
The building has 3 floors:
- At the entrance of the Ground Floor is the lending and information desk, as well as computers for consultation of the Library's catalog. On this same floor there is a Reading Room, several group work rooms and the Media Library.
- On the First Floor is the second Reading Room, the Exhibition Room and a Meeting Room.
- In the Basement is the Depository Room and the Mendeleiev Room, equipped with tables for group work and also as an exhibition space.
The Group Work Rooms and the Mendeleiev Room are the place where students can meet to carry out tasks that require commenting, sharing and discussing information.
These rooms are available on a reservation basis.
In addition to the Lending Service, the Library has many other services, including coverage of the University's wireless network and a laptop lending service from which you can consult the Cisne catalog or use its electronic resources. Periodically, the library offers free training courses on the use of its services.
They also carry out a great informative work through their exhibitions, which can be consulted at this link.
