The Master starts with the hydrocarbon reservoir geology (UPSTREAM) of the oil and gas, including geological characterization, exploration, production of the first hydrocarbons. it includes field trips to high quality geological exposures. DOWNSTREAM is the processing of crude oil and natural gas to produce fossil energy sources and petrochemicals. It includes experimental practices on distillation and products characterization; and simulation practices to design the refinery main operations. The program is completed with visits.
