El Centro de Cartografía Cerebral posee una amplia experiencia en el estudio de la función cerebral. Su actividad incluye la oferta de su infraestructura y know-how a la sociedad universitaria y empresas interesadas en la aplicación de metodologías de exploración de la actividad cerebral mediante las técnicas de potenciales evocados electroencefalográficos en humanos y de imagen molecular por microPET en animales.
