She is graduate in veterinary (1993) and doctor in veterinary (2000) of the Complutense University of Madrid. She joined the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid in 1993, where she is working as Lecturer of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. Maria Isabel is head of the Diagnostic Imaging Service of the Complutense Veterinary Clinic Hospital from 2005 to the present. Scientific head of management of the Diagnostic Imaging Service within BioImaC Complutense.
Research lines: digital radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance. Former fellow at the University of California (Davis, USA) and Cambridge University (UK), as well as at the Animal Medical Center in New York and the Animal Health Trust (Newmarket, UK). She is main author of several national and international publications and has been invited as speaker at various national and international courses and conferences.
