Postdoctoral researcher (MSCA-UNA4CAREER)
My interests and experience are focused on the ecological and evolutionary dynamics of species interaction networks and infectious disease dynamics. For that, I combine empirical data, mathematical modeling and tools derived from network science. My research lies at the intersection of community and ecosystem ecology, evolutionary biology, epidemiology and conservation biology. I am particularly interested in understanding the effects of biodiversity loss and environmental disturbance on community structure, ecosystem function and human health across spatial and temporal scales.
I join the multi-institutional research group IRIS (Innovation for Resilience, Inclusion and Sustainability) and I am a member of the Science Panel for the Amazon.
