Research Teams and Lines

Laura Sáenz Díez

I studied Mathematics and Physics (2018–2023) at Universidad de Cantabria (UC). In my final year, I got interested in amenable structures, a topic I discovered thanks to a Severo Ochoa Introduction to Research Grant, under the supervision of Fernando Lledó.

In 2024, I completed an MSc in Advanced Mathematics at UCM, where I studied quasidiagonal and Følner-type approximations for unbounded operators under the supervision of Eva A. Gallardo and Fernando Lledó, supported by a JAE Intro Grant. I also  worked as a research assistant at the Instituto Universitario de Matemáticas y Aplicaciones (IUMA) at Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR) under the supervision of Joan Bosa, focusing on graph-theoretic models for dynamical systems.

Since January 2025, I have been a PhD student researching quantum spin systems under the supervision of Joan Claramunt and Fernando Lledó.
