Description of Funds
As a result of teaching and research activities a series of scientific and technical instruments are preserved in the above mentioned faculties. The historic interest lies in the fact that they were either prototypes made by the own university workshops or used in some relevant research.
The History of the Collection
This collection has a heteroclitic origin. The compilation, preservation and exhibition in public spaces do not meet the requirements for an explicit plan museum. Although the collection does not share the same history, t is a significant asset in the Complutense history as well as in the Spanish science development during nineteenth and twentieth century.
