Postdoctoral researcher

I am interested in the study of the effects of the human disturbance (recreational use and urbanization) on wildlife, likewise the strategies directing their adaptation to humanized environments. I have focused mainly on the analyses of certain behavioural, physiological and reproductive traits in these contexts and also in their natural areas, using birds as a model study.

The study of ecological and evolutionary aspects directing the interactions parasites-host is another of the research lines where I am involve in. From the host perspective we search responses integrating a wide variety of perspectives: behaviour, physiological consequences, immune system, etc.
